Rebuild Lamar

Rebuild Lamar is a ministry of Barnesville First United Methodist Church and the Lamar County community. Its mission is to improve the quality of life by making home repairs for Lamar County residents whose income falls below the poverty level. In addition to seeking monetary and building supply donations, the ministry is applying for grants and funds from organizations and business.

Together, we can do this!

The first repair project we repaired a front porch, front and back steps, replaced siding, and paint the exterior of the home. Gordon students have volunteered to work alongside the Rebuild Lamar volunteers.

Volunteers must be 18 years or older, bring gloves and other personal safety items.
