Stations of the Cross 2022

Call for Art

You are invited to be part of the 2022 Stations of the Cross.

In this prayerful journey, participants move from one station to the next, experiencing Jesus’ last hours with art , scripture, devotions and interactive elements.

Art of every form is welcome. You are invited to submit paintings, drawings, collages, digital art, sculptures, photography, blacksmith and other artisan pieces, all for a display that honors God and encourages participants to grow in appreciation for Jesus’ choice to take the cross.

Submissions Timeline

You can portray any scene between the time of Jesus' entrance to Jerusalem and his death. Click here to peruse  potential scenes that you could depict.

Please let Pastor Cyndi know of your interest as soon as possible, and any preliminary work if the art is not yet completed.  This increases the likelihood that we can use your art.  A devotion writer will be assigned to your art, and will need time to prepare their devotion.

Monday April 4 – Deadline for Art Submissions

Please deliver to the conference room, across the hall from the church office, at Barnesville First United Methodist Church. Art can be delivered early at the church office, Mondays through  Thursdays, 9am – 3pm, or by appointment.
